For End Customers

  • Communication Data: WhatsApp phone numbers, voice notes, text messages, and images sent to the store's dedicated NearBuy.Delivery number.
  • Fulfillment Data: Delivery addresses, location pins, and order histories required to fulfill grocery orders.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To Facilitate Orders: Translating conversational text, voice, and images into structured shopping carts for the store owner.
  • To Communicate: Sending automated order status updates (e.g., Confirmed, Dispatched) via WhatsApp.
  • To Improve Our Services: Analyzing usage trends to improve system prompt accuracy and dashboard functionality.
  • For Billing: Processing payments for store owners' credit balances.

3. Third-Party Subprocessors & AI

To provide our conversational commerce features, we share necessary data with trusted third-party providers:

  • Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API): Used to send and receive messages. End-to-end encryption applies between the user's device and the WhatsApp API endpoints.
  • Google (Gemini LLM): Used strictly for processing natural language, voice notes, and images to generate structured JSON orders. We do not permit our AI providers to use your personal data to train their public models.
  • Hosting & Database Providers: Used to securely store order histories, customer addresses, and dashboard metrics.
